Medical Insurance for all Non-EU studying in Ireland:

Non-EU students must provide details of their private medical insurance policy in advance of applying for a study visa to Ireland. It is important that Non-EU students assess private medical insurance options available to them in their home country and options available in Ireland in advance of visa application. Non-EU students will be required to present a copy of their private medical insurance on registering with the local immigration office on arrival in Ireland. Click here for more information.

The International Office, ATU Donegal has prepared a summary of some options for medical insurance providers in Ireland but it is the responsibility of international students to purchase their own policy in advance of arrival at ATU Donegal.

The Visa Section, Dept of Justice, now accepts IELTS online, TOEFL online and Duolingo Online English Tests as Proof of English (for entry visa only). Please upload any copies of Proof of English Certificates to your ATU Donegal online application and notify international.donegal@atu.ie.
